Here at the Storm Tracker Weather Forecast Office in Springfield, MO, I, the Storm Tracker Amateur
Meteorologist/Weather Forecaster am working each and every day the forecast office is being operated with several computers
running several different types of weather data to provide manually updated weather information such as forecasts, weather
discussion(s), hazardous weather outlook(s)/information, and weather alerts, etc to people on the cb radio in the Springfield,
MO area and on this web site, as well as on yahoo messenger, and possibly at-least at times on the landline phone at the weather
forecast office. I do not grarantee to update the weather information such as my forecast, weather discussion, hazardous weather
outlook, and other information every 6 hours or even every day, however here at the storm tracker weather forecast office,
I in most cases usually have the capability to update such information every 6 hours. Other information such as the weather
alerts are not guaranteed to be available at tall times, accurate, timely, up to date, and reliable, but in most cases may
be and is capable of being so.
Information which is updated by other internet weather sources including radar, current conditions, etc with more possibly
coming in the future. I hope you don't think/find any popup/banner advertisements to be annoying/aggrevating in any way, because
I currently cannot afford to get rid of them with other more important expenses I have been having to take care of recently.
More information about this weather forecast office can be found below. If you would like to comment about that way my weather
forecast office operates, about anything on this web site, and/or anything at all, please email you comment(s) to: stwfo1@sbcglobal.net. I hope that you will enjoy your visit to this my weather forecast office web site and find this web site to be informative
and accurate and come back in the future for weather information.
The Storm Tracker Weather Forecast Office in Springfield, MO was formerly known as part of the Regional Weather Service Weather
Web Site Network, but within the last few years the founder and owner of the former RWS Weather Web Site Network has decided
to make the former organization an organizationless weather forecast office in Springfield, MO. The owner, manager, and the
one who runs this forecast office has been the only one forecasting and running it for the past 4 years and beyond providing
forecasts, hazardous weather information, and/or weather alerts to web site visitors as well as providing potentially important/life-saving
weather information to radio operators on the cb radio most likely unless it changes on channels 12, possibly 21 in the city
of Springfield, MO or within radio range of Springfield, MO. I have earned the trust of a few/several cb radio operators through
the Springfield, MO area. Whenever you're in the Springfield, MO area (Especially in the City limits) and need weather information,
call Storm Tracker, Storm Tracker Weather Forecast Office, or STWFO on the cb radio either on channel 12 or channel 21 as
long as the forecast office doesn't change the channel(s) it operates, stands by, and/or sand bags on (sandbags is a cb term).
The main reasons why this forecast office is still in existence is to honor and obey the good Lord Jesus Christ and for the
passion that God gave me to forecast the weather. I also like/enjoy keeping people in the Springfield, MO area posted/up to
date on the weather, and despite this may not ever happen, I think it would be great if I could be everyone's weather forecaster/weather
man.
I also want to bless people with weather information on and off the cb radio and help keep them protected and ahead of the
weather. I also have pleasure of forecasting, tracking monitoring, the weather and providing the information to people on
and off the cb radio as well.
Currently, this Weather Forecast Office is running up to 8 computers which display weather information/data such as: NEXRAD
Doppler Radar (Storm Tracker Weather Forecast Office NEXRAD Doppler Radar), weather forecast models, current surface and upper-air
conditions, satellite imagery, model forecast sounding data part time or full time, at-least whenever the weather forecast
office is running sufficiently, and/or whenever the forecast office is being operated. This is so that I in this weather forecast
office can provide the latest weather information on this site and the cb radio and elsewhere. The computers that are running
in this forecast office are running on 4 American Power Conversion Uninterruptible power supplies with a battery backup. This
is so if there is a event/problem such as electrical noise, blackout, surge, spike, overvoltage, undervoltage, etc, the computers
may be protected from such power problems, however may not be guaranteed protected.
Within the last week or so of Saturday February 21, 2009, my weather forecast office had obtained an Electronic Professional
Weather Station. This is so I can get outside readings of temperature, humidity, wind speed/gust, rainfall/precipitation amounts,
and possibly barometric pressure, and dew point without having to rely on internet/other sources to know more about what's
going on with the weather outside the Storm Tracker Weather Forecast Office. Though I may attempt to change this sometime
in the future, unfortunately, I cannot automatically post this weather station readings on the internet/onto this web site
due to insufficient hardware and software capabilities.
Here at the Storm Tracker Weather Forecast Office, I work every day when the forecast office is being operated normally (which
is at-least part of the time), (sometimes working harder depending on the weather and other things) monitoring weather conditions
and forecasts to provide the weather information that I provide to my forecast area. If you have any questions about this
Weather Forecast Office, please don't hesitate to contact the Storm Tracker Weather Forecast Office at: stwfo1@sbcglobal.net.
